Photographing vultures through hide

At Faia Brava Reserve, we have a hide for vultures, at the feeding-station, to allow the observation and photography of this rare and endangered birds.
This hide has capacity for 4 photographers. It is 4x3m in size and its interior height varies between 1,80m and 1,70m. It is divided into 2 rooms, an entrance hall (with space for storage) and the photo room.

Target species

During Spring and Summer: Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), Griffon (Gyps fulvus) and the occasional Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus). The Black Kite (Milvus migrans) is also present and sometimes the Red Kite (Milvus milvus).
During Autumn and Winter: Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) and occasionally the Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus), also Red Kite (Milvus milvus).

Price for 2 persons: 90,00 €/person

Price for 3 persons: 80,00 €/person

Price for 4 persons: 70,00 €/person

Includes guide, transportation, picnic-lunch, feeding the vultures, insurances.
A percentage of the profits from this activity revert to nature conservation actions at Faia Brava Reserve.

    Hello, i had three times this hide experience and it was amazing! Many different species and the rarest ones! Fernando is an outstanding nature and bird guide. I strongly recommend.
